Discussion: Should atheists celebrate christmas or other “holy” days?

This week’s meeting is whether non-theists should celebrate christmas or other originally religious American holidays. Are christmas and easter secularized enough? Or should we be encouraging a different meaning on these days and thus a different holiday?

This will be our last meeting of the quarter. It will be at Jacobs Porch this thursday at 7:30pm until 10:00pm. RSVP on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/225715434167278/.

We are also having a planning meeting directly before that at 6:30. You can find more info on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/265889900130577/.

See you  there!
